Committees and meetings

Council and committee meetings have now returned to being held in person rather than online. Please note that in accordance with our risk assessment of the venue we have to restrict members of the public in attendance at each meeting. Public seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We have a duty to maintain health and safety and follow the current COVID restrictions guidance and have balanced that against the need to keep the meeting open to the public. It is recommended that you wear a face covering (when not participating in public speaking) and that you sign in using the NHS Test and Trace app. You are asked to sanitise your hands on arrival, and to comply with social distancing requirements as signed.

Please do NOT attend if you have any COVID symptoms, if you have received a positive PCR test result in the 10 days preceding the meeting, or if you have otherwise been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.

If you would like to speak at a council meeting, or have any queries relating to meetings, please contact democraticservices@ambervalley.gov.uk.
